We have proudly been re-awarded the cleaning contract at ICON PLC, Swansea. This is a contract which we previously serviced between 2008—2017. The contract was lost during a large re-tender process but now is back being serviced by ServiceMaster Clean, South Wales.

We previously provided cleaning services to ICON Plc (formally PRA Health Sciences) from 2008-2017. During 2017, PRA put all of their soft facilities management out for tender, for all of their offices, including their UK head office in Reading. Unfortunately during this tender process the contract changed from ServiceMaster to another local company. The contract changed over shortly after again to a national company who also serviced their Reading office.

We left on good terms and was always hopeful, that one day we would be provided the opportunity to re tender for the contract. In September 2022, that opportunity came about. We were contacted by the facilities manager who not only asked for us to tender for the cleaning contract but the whole soft facilities management, including; waste removal, pest control, window cleaning, washroom hygiene services, consumables and carpet cleaning.

After a 30 day consultation with the previous company and transferring employees the contract officially re started on17/10/20. The contract has 4 staff members working mostly in the evening but also a day time housekeeping service.

The building has recently benefited from a large renovation and investment and employs over 270 staff members. The building is iconic in the Swansea Waterfront area and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the client and staff and maintaining the high standards of service in which they receive.
