ServiceMaster Swansea shortlisted for BFA Award
The Managing Director of commercial cleaning franchise, ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services South West Wales, has been shortlisted for a national franchise award following a record number of entries. The company is a franchise of ServiceMaster Limited, which is celebrating its 55th anniversary this year.
Owner of ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services South West Wales, Jayne Gethin, who bought the franchise in 2005, is a finalist in the B2B Franchisee of the year category of the British Franchise Association (BFA) HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards 2014. Employing over 105 staff at its base in Llandarcy, the company is no stranger to awards’ success, having won a South Wales Chamber of Commerce Welsh Business Award in 2013, and the highest ServiceMaster national award in 2010.
Jayne said “ I am delighted to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award and to be recognised for our hard work in the commercial marketplace is a great honour. We have worked hard to develop the customer base we have and we are constantly pushing the door for new business across South West Wales. Our success is down to the quality of our staff, who work hard to deliver the best service to every client.”
Alan Lewin, Managing Director of ServiceMaster Limited added “Jayne’s commitment to her business and her staff is incredible. The low staff turnover and client satisfaction feedback is a testament to her success – we wish Jayne all the best in the awards.”
Jayne will meet award judges from HSBC, Express Newspapers, Platinum Wave and Menzies in July, with winners announced at a black tie dinner in Birmingham in October 2014.
